Job Summary

Main Duties
- Work as a registered nurse within a ward team within the Integrated Medicine and Patient Flow Division.
- Prioritise and deliver nursing care and assessment as needed.
- Demonstrate high standards of care and set examples of best practice within the delivery of patient care.
- Liaise with other departments and staff to ensure that patient care is delivered.
- Ensure patients’ safety, privacy and dignity are maintained at all times.
- Support the nurse in charge of the ward and liaise with other departments and professionals to ensure that the needs of the ward are met.
- Following appropriate development, take charge of the ward and oversee patient admissions, transfers and the care delivered by other staff.
- Undertake such duties as from time to time determined by the Unit Manager and/or Head Nurse.

Contract: Permanent, Full‑time, Band 5, Salary: £32,073 to £39,043 per annum (pro rata). Reference number: 382-MEC03-26-A. Job locations: Blackpool Teaching Hospitals, Whinney Heys Road, Blackpool, FY3 8NR, United Kingdom.
