We have an exciting opportunity for you – SDET Engineer (AI‑enabled Testing)!

The Role

As an SDET Engineer (AI‑enabled Testing), you will contribute to end‑to‑end quality engineering by combining manual, automated, and AI‑assisted testing approaches. You will help embed quality across the development lifecycle, improve test effectiveness, and support delivery of stable, high‑quality releases within a fast‑paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Designing and executing test strategies across API, data, and application layers.
  • Developing and maintaining automated test frameworks using modern tools and practices.
  • Applying AI‑assisted testing techniques to improve coverage, efficiency, and defect detection.
  • Managing the full defect lifecycle, including reporting, prioritisation, and resolution tracking.
  • Collaborating with developers, product owners, and cross‑functional teams to ensure quality throughout delivery.
  • Supporting continuous testing practices within CI/CD pipelines.
  • Exploring emerging QA technologies such as intelligent automation and predictive testing.

Your Profile

Essential skills/knowledge/experience

  • Proficiency in Python and familiarity with test frameworks such as PyTest.
  • Understanding of software testing principles, including API, exploratory, and data testing.
  • Knowledge of automation tools such as Playwright and BDD frameworks (e.g., Gherkin).
  • Familiarity with AI or machine learning concepts and their application in testing.
  • Understanding of data validation techniques and working with structured datasets.
  • Ability to analyse problems and design effective testing solutions.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills within Agile teams.
  • Exposure to AI‑assisted testing, including test case generation and intelligent test optimisation.
  • Familiarity with self‑healing automation concepts and smart test frameworks.
  • Experience with SQL, Big Query, DBT, Kafka or database validation.
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and continuous testing practices.
  • Knowledge of performance testing and identifying system bottlenecks.
  • Interest in emerging QA trends such as Agentic AI, predictive testing and intelligent automation.
