Based at the client’s state‑of‑the‑art facility, the role provides a unique chance to develop expertise in chromatography and ADME studies, supporting research from early‑stage to potential new medicines.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage and operate a suite of open‑access LC‑MS systems to support project needs.
- Purify and analyze chiral and achiral compounds, ensuring high‑quality data generation.
- Run physchem assays and potentially undertake in‑vitro ADME studies to support drug discovery programs.
- Provide accurate, high‑quality analytical data to inform chemical series understanding and answer key scientific questions.
- Promote cross‑disciplinary collaboration and maintain safe laboratory activities.
Role Requirements
- A degree or higher in a relevant subject (e.g., Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry).
- Proven practical experience with LC‑MS systems, including providing physchem data and separating chiral compounds.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills, with a passion for developing new medicines.
