Domestic Assistant – Contract
£12.71 per hour, 25‑27 hours per week. Paid PVG, pension, uniform provided. 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full‑time contract).
Role Overview
As a Domestic Assistant you will play an essential role in creating a clean, safe and welcoming environment that supports wellbeing, dignity and comfort. This hands‑on role relies on details and high standards that directly impact daily life. Your responsibilities include cleaning residents’ rooms, bathrooms and communal areas, ensuring all spaces are maintained to a high standard of hygiene and presentation. You will also support laundry services, handling personal belongings with care and returning them correctly.
Working closely with the wider team, you will follow infection control, health and safety and cleaning procedures, ensuring all tasks are completed safely and in line with required standards. Your role will contribute to a well‑organised, respectful and comfortable environment for everyone.
