Examinations Analyst

£34,333 – £37,951 pa, plus excellent benefits.

Aldgate, London (including flexible working).

Role Overview

The Royal College of Psychiatrists is looking to hire for the position of Examinations Analyst within the Examinations Team. The Examinations Analyst is an important role at the College as part of the processes associated with the Membership examinations (MRCPsych). Further development will be provided by creating, validating, and maintaining new and existing examination and assessment tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Calculate and set MRCPsych pass marks.
  • Perform quality assurance on exam output and administer standard setting meetings.
  • Conduct routine analysis of MRCPsych examinations, which are run multiple times a year.
  • Collaborate with the Examination Team to identify areas for change and development within examination and assessment processes.
  • Evaluate and develop new processes and procedures.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree qualified or with relevant professional experience.
  • In-depth understanding of techniques and theories used in statistical analysis.
  • Knowledge or interest in medical education, familiarity with its terminology, and understanding of EDI issues and best practices is desirable.
