Job Description:

The Cancer Research UK Cambridge Centre is recruiting a full-time Clinical Data Integration Specialist to support cutting‑edge translational cancer research. The role will focus on designing, implementing and maintaining scalable data pipelines, ensuring high‑quality, well‑structured datasets are available for research and clinical use.

Responsibilities

  • Embed within the Cancer Clinical Informatics (CCI) Team while supporting the Women’s Cancers Programme.
  • Develop and maintain data ETLs and integration solutions across key systems (EPIC, LIMS, REDCap, cBioPortal).
  • Ensure secure and efficient flow of data between clinical and research environments.
  • Collaborate closely with Principal Investigators, clinical teams and technical colleagues to meet research protocols, governance standards and institutional strategy.
  • Engage with a broad range of user groups and stakeholders, communicate technical concepts to both specialist and non‑specialist audiences, gather requirements and support adoption of data and system solutions across the programme.

Qualifications

  • Ability to design, implement and maintain scalable data pipelines and integration solutions.
  • Experience with clinical information systems (EPIC, LIMS, REDCap, cBioPortal) preferred.
  • Will be required to pass a security check and obtain a Research Passport.
  • Fixed‑term position funded until 31 March 2028.
