Youve got 5+ years in business development, ideally in construction, civils, or building materials. You know fire safety isnt a tick-box. Youre bored of selling things that dont matterand really bored of job ads that read like legal documents.
What youll actually enjoy:
Finding new clients (architects, contractors, regulators) who need fire testing.
Helping them navigate complex regulations. Youll be the person they call when theyre stuck.
Writing proposals that win work. Proper persuasive ones.
Conferences, meetings, site visits. Fewer sad sandwiches. More engineering.
