Job Description:

London Business School are looking for an Aware to Admit (A2A) Data Analyst to join our Technology team and play a key role in a major cross‑functional transformation programme. You will support the delivery of the Aware to Admit data workstream, working in partnership with the A2A Data Lead to help define, develop and implement the programme’s data and reporting requirements. Working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners‑including business and data subject matter experts, Data Architects and Solution Architects—you will contribute to the design and delivery of data models, reporting solutions and data standards that support programme objectives and enable high‑quality, trusted data across the School. The Aware to Admit (A2A) Programme is a cross‑functional initiative designed to transform the customer journey from initial awareness through to admission. Data plays a critical role in this transformation, ensuring business needs are met through robust, well‑governed and high‑quality data.

Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of the A2A data workstream in partnership with the A2A Data Lead.
  • Contribute to the definition, development and implementation of data and reporting requirements.
  • Work with stakeholders across the School to understand business needs and translate them into data solutions.
  • Support the design and maintenance of data models and reporting outputs.
  • Contribute to data mapping, migration design and business glossary definitions.
  • Carry out data quality assurance activities across the project lifecycle.
  • Support the implementation and testing of reporting and analytics solutions.
  • Help ensure outputs are accurate, scalable and aligned to business requirements.
  • Work with technical and non‑technical colleagues to explain data concepts and findings clearly.
  • Support robust data governance and management practices across the programme.

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex datasets and present findings clearly.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
  • Experience building and maintaining reports and dashboards using Power BI and/or SSRS.
  • Experience using SQL and SSMS, including query writing, joins, aggregations and stored procedures.
  • Knowledge of data modelling, database design and data management principles.
  • Experience integrating data from multiple sources.
  • Experience with, or awareness of, Azure technologies, including Azure Data Factory and Azure data storage.
  • Understanding of reporting standards, data visualisation techniques and best practice in presenting data.
  • Understanding of data management standards and procedures.
  • An interest in emerging data technologies, industry trends and continuous professional development.
