Technical Lead

OTE: £190,000 | Hybrid (1 or 2 days per week in London) | Full-Time | Permanent

We’re looking for an experienced Mobile Developer Tech Lead to drive the next generation of mobile products across iOS and Android platforms, with a strong focus on AI-powered user experiences and modern mobile architecture.

This is an opportunity to lead a high-performing engineering team building scalable, intelligent mobile applications used by millions of users globally.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Lead the design, development, and delivery of cutting-edge mobile applications across iOS or Android.
• Architect scalable, maintainable, and secure mobile solutions using modern frameworks and best practices.
• Drive technical strategy and engineering standards across mobile platforms.
• Mentor and manage mobile engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Work closely with Product, UX/UI, Data, and Backend teams to deliver exceptional user experiences.
• Champion CI/CD, testing automation, observability, and mobile performance optimisation.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to the mobile ecosystem.

Required Experience:

• Strong commercial experience developing native or cross‑platform mobile applications.
• Proven technical leadership experience leading engineering teams or large mobile projects.
• Deep expertise in:
• Swift / SwiftUI
• React Native or Flutter (desirable)
• Experience integrating AI/ML services and APIs into mobile applications.
• Solid understanding of mobile architecture patterns, APIs, cloud services, and scalable systems.
