Java Developer

Our leading Investment Banking client is looking for a Java Developer (3–8 years’ experience) to join a front office technology team.

What you’ll be doing:

• Working closely with front office stakeholders to gather and deliver business requirements
• Designing and building distributed, low-latency trading systems
• Developing high-performance Java applications for equities trading and risk platforms
• Contributing to platform rebuild initiatives using modern engineering approaches

What we’re looking for:

• Experience within financial services / front office technology environments
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Broad programming experience and ability to pick up new technologies quickly
• Experience working on algorithmic trading or e-Trading platforms
• Exposure to large-scale, complex financial systems
