Job Description:

Landmarc Support Services is currently seeking a Site Operative to join our dedicated team. In this role you will be responsible for looking after the Training Estate facilities, cleaning accommodation blocks, and maintaining the grounds and buildings to ensure a safe, efficient and sustainable place for armed forces to train.

Responsibilities

  • Looking after the camps general cleanliness, ensuring it is fit for purpose.
  • Cleaning accommodation blocks, ablutions, classrooms, stores, offices and welfare areas. Window cleaning, filling/emptying dishwasher, vacuuming, mopping, removal of waste. All to a set standard and recording when this has been completed.
  • Support and undertake routine regular planned preventive maintenance activities – building fire prevention equipment, emergency light testing, plant room inspections, legionella management and outlet flushing.
  • General building maintenance.
  • Basic grounds maintenance.
  • Handing over/taking back accommodation and facilities.
  • Stock management tasks.
  • Complete all relevant documentation utilising both IT and paper based systems.
  • Carry out any other additional requirements as needed.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of health and safety procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to complete documentation.
  • Basic IT skills with ability to use a tablet.
  • Applicants must hold a valid UK driving licence (essential).

Desired Skills

  • Previous knowledge of planned preventive maintenance activity.
  • Basic knowledge of cleaning to a set standard.
  • Basic understanding of fire prevention maintenance.
  • Basic understanding of legionella management.
