About the Role

We’re looking for a caring and motivated Family Support Worker to join our team in Walsall. This is a rewarding role where you’ll support children, young people, and their families through challenges and help them move forward positively. No two days are the same—you could be out in the community or in a local hub, working directly with families and making a real difference.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one and group support to families facing a range of challenges.
• Safeguard children and promote their welfare at all times.
• Maintain accurate records and reports.

What We’re Looking For

Someone who genuinely cares about helping families and possesses the following skills and experience.

• Experience working with children, young people, or vulnerable families.
• Good communication skills and the ability to build trust.
• A team player who can also work independently.
• Good understanding of safeguarding.

Essential Requirements

• Relevant qualification in Health & Social Care, Childcare, or equivalent (Level3 or above).
• Experience in a similar role.
• Understanding of safeguarding.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (preferred).
