Health and Safety Training Assistant
Location: Leicester or Bristol (Hybrid work arrangements)

As a Health and Safety Training Assistant, you will play a vital role in strengthening safety culture across our nuclear and engineering operations, ensuring our people operate safely, confidently and in line with regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high‑quality health, safety and environmental training sessions across multiple locations.
- Review and update training materials to align with current legislation and company standards.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams and external bodies such as IOSH and ECITB.
- Maintain accurate training records and ensure documentation is up to date.
Essential Experience
- Experience delivering face‑to‑face and/or virtual training sessions.
- Strong working knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
- Clear communication and presentation skills to engage diverse audiences.
- Effective collaboration with stakeholders across different teams and locations.
- Structured management and updating of training materials.
Qualifications
- Level 3 (or equivalent) accredited Health and Safety qualification (e.g., NEBOSH General Certificate or NVQ Level 3 in Health and Safety).
- Recognised training or teaching qualification from an accredited body.
- Minimum IOSH membership (or working towards) with active CPD.
- Experience delivering IOSH training (such as Managing Safely) is advantageous.
- First‑Aid Trainer or Mental Health First‑Aid England Trainer qualifications advantageous.
