Ashurst Reach Legal Consultant – Privacy & Data Protection Lawyer

The Role

• Work as a trusted business partner within a collaborative in-house legal function, building strong relationships with senior leaders and key internal stakeholders.
• Provide expert advice on all aspects of the UK General Data Protection Regulation, the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025, and the Data Protection Act 2018, including data protection impact assessments and data subject rights.
• Advise on marketing related privacy matters, including the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2013, AdTech, and cookies.
• Support the implementation of complex initiatives such as Generative AI from a data protection perspective.
• Advise on data protection aspects of commercial contracts, including SaaS and other technology agreements.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor or barrister entitled to practise in the UK with sufficient PQE.
• Strong understanding of data protection, marketing, and digital related law.
