Streetworks Coordinator – Basingstoke – Permanent – Competitive + Flexible Benefits
Summary
Co-ordinate all streetworks notices and permits for cabling and overhead line projects. You will provide streetworks support in accordance with business operations and TMA/NRWSA, and play an integral role in the successful application of our works management system. Support field operations in managing a fully optimised workforce, meeting service performance standards, and deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Administer emergency and planned streetworks notices/permits.
- Open and close streetworks notices/permits, including registering reinstatement details.
- Liaise with local authorities and supervisors.
- Co‑ordinate with third parties (e.g., parking suspensions, bus stop suspensions, road closures).
- Report and administer defect notices.
- Analyse and respond to FPNs and Section 74 charges.
- Ensure notice/permit numbers are included in job packs.
- Monitor notices/permits to prevent overruns.
- Manage the streetworks interface with charges and fines, challenging and investigating to secure the best outcome for Freedom.
- Demonstrate strong organisational and time‑management skills.
- Work proactively, accurately, and methodically under pressure and strict deadlines.
- Respond reactively to changing situations as they occur.
- Be PC literate with good knowledge of Excel and Outlook.
- Carry out any other duties appropriate for a job of this nature.
