BOXER Technician

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FORPosition PurposeAs BOXER MIV enters service we are looking for skilled and motivated (mobile) Technicians who are able to inspect, diagnose and rectify to join our team in delivering support to the UK MOD. The successful candidates will be responsible for providing maintenance and advisory services for BOXER MIV vehicles, delivering reliable, high quality and timely service support to the customer.Position ResponsibilitiesConducting maintenance and service tasks on BOXER MIV vehicles at various MOD locationsSupporting the planning and implementation of retrofit, modification and conversion programmesAssisting with the commissioning and acceptance of new vehicles into serviceUndertake required customer support tasks in external facilitiesAbility to work with minimal supervision, as part of a team or individuallyOperate efficiently to conclude all on site installation, repair, maintenance and test activitiesGuarantee that the work progress accurately follows the agendaInspect, diagnose and perform troubleshooting (and strive) to resolve issuesProduce frequent and analytical service reportsAdhere to company’s given rules and regulationsTeam up with colleagues and pass on important informationDiscern customer needs and offer advice or recommendationsFormulate relationships of trust with customersWHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVEEssential:Modern Apprenticeship / NVQ level 3, or equivalent in appropriate disciplineIOSH working safely qualificationAble to conduct risk assessmentsIT literate and familiar with Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel)Driving licence (inc C+E)Hold UK SC (or able to gain)Desirable:Class 1 vehicle mechanicExperience as a Field Service RepresentativeUK Fork Lift licenceGantry Crane trainedAutomotive air condition maintainerHighly Desirable:Experience of Vehicle Inspector Continuous Training (VICT)VICT Engineering SupervisorExperience using Joint Assest Management and Engineering Solutions (JAMES)WHAT WE OFFER YOUA competitive salary, that also includes an annual incentive based on your performance in the role25 days holiday and the option to buy a further 5 daysMatch contribution pension schemePrivate Medical coverSalary sacrifice benefits such as cycle to workElectronic Vehicle SchemeFlexible working hours and location split between home and officeAn opportunity to join the company at a really exciting time of growth and an opportunity to develop this key role in support of that growthCONTACT INFORMATIONUK.HR@Rheinmetall.com#J-18808-Ljbffr…
