Overview
We are seeking an ambitious and detail-oriented Civil Litigation Solicitor to join our clients growing team based in Central London. The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload of civil litigation matters and provide high-quality legal advice to a diverse client base, including individuals, SMEs, and corporate clients.

Key Responsibilities
- Managing a varied caseload of civil litigation matters from inception to resolution
- Drafting pleadings, witness statements, and other legal documentation
- Conducting legal research and providing clear, strategic advice to clients
- Handling matters including (but not limited to):
- Contractual disputes
- Property litigation
- Professional negligence claims
- Debt recovery
- Shareholder and partnership disputes
- Conducting negotiations and representing clients at mediations and settlement meetings
- Instructing Counsel and attending court hearings where appropriate
- Ensuring compliance with the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR)
- Maintaining accurate file management and billing records
- Contributing to business development and marketing initiatives
Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales
- NQE – 5 Years PQE
- Strong knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules
- Experience managing cases independently
- Excellent drafting, analytical, and negotiation skills
- Strong client care and communication abilities
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
- Commercial awareness and a proactive approach
Desirable
- Experience with High Court litigation
- Advocacy experience
- Experience with ADR, including mediation
- Existing client following (advantageous but not essential)
