Role Overview
We are recruiting for Female Support Workers to support individuals in our Dumfries service so they can live independently in their own homes. The people we support have faced challenges due to learning disabilities and mobility issues, but they enjoy a wide variety of activities and are open to new experiences. Our support team is diverse and works well together to ensure the people we support are happy and safe in their own homes.
Support work is provided 24 hours a day, including days and sleepovers, and we are currently recruiting bank Support Workers who want to work flexibly around their current commitments.
Responsibilities
- Supporting with medication administration.
- Preparing meals and cooking.
- Assisting with personal care.
- Maintaining the homes of people supported and helping to manage their finances.
- Providing 24‑hour support (including days and sleepovers).
