SEND Teaching Assistant

A vibrant and supportive three-form entry Primary School in Tower Hamlets, where “togetherness” truly sums up their ethos is looking for an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant for an ASAP, 5 day a week position.

Commitment to supporting all the children in the class including the SEND pupils, flexibility and confidence is a must!

Pay rates of between £90 – £110 per day. This ASAP role is 5 days a week until July and hours are 8.30Am – 16.00.

As the successful SEND Teaching Assistant you will:

• Support pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including 1:1 and small group work.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, the SENCO, and external professionals to deliver tailored support.
• Help adapt and scaffold lessons so that all pupils access the curriculum effectively.
• Contribute to planning, assessment, and record-keeping, ensuring that progress is consistently monitored.
• Provide pastoral support, building strong, trusting relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues.
• Be part of a school that prioritises professional development, well-being, and career growth.

Who should apply:

• Experienced SEND experience ideally in a Primary School
• An Enhanced Child Only DBS and/or Overseas Police checks
