Support Worker – Witham & Colchester

Job Overview

Mencap is seeking passionate Support Workers in Witham. The role is permanent and full‑time, with part‑time options available. It involves delivering high‑quality, flexible support to individuals with learning disabilities, helping them live as independently as possible and enjoy meaningful lives.

What we’re looking for

• A genuine passion for supporting others.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• A positive and empathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities.
• All roles subject to an enhanced DBS check and suitable references.

Contract and Working Hours

• Full time: 37.5 hours per week / Part time options available.
• Days: Between 07:00‑22:00 with a schedule prepared at least four weeks in advance.

Salary
