Support Worker within Learning Disability Services – Female

LOCATION: Gateshead

Shifts – Days: 08:00-20:00 & Nights: 20:00-08:00 – flexible and available to work across a variety of shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.

We’re looking for Support Workers within Learning Disability Services who are committed to making a real difference – people who truly care and want to build long‑term partnerships with those they support.

You will work as part of a strong, regular team for 4:1 & 3:1 shifts, support our client with structure and routine. You will be a strong communicator and adapt to varying moods and situations. You should be engaging and enthusiastic, supporting day to day with puzzles, swimming, baking and much more.

  • Deliver person‑centered care within the client’s own home.
  • Maintain safety whilst making positive risk decisions.

  • 12 months UK‑based experience in a community setting.
  • Confidence in maintaining risk and using physical intervention where required.
  • Confidence in utilising PBS standards within services.
  • Strong personal values and ethical standards.
  • Dedication, commitment and stability.
  • A genuine desire to build lasting relationships and make a positive impact.
