Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Representative role based in Crawley Down. The Sales Representative will respond to inbound inquiries, follow up on leads, and proactively reach out to potential clients for events, film shoots, and corporate bookings. Day-to-day tasks include qualifying prospects, preparing and presenting catering proposals, negotiating pricing and packages within guidelines, and closing bookings. The role also involves maintaining accurate records in the CRM system, coordinating closely with operations and event teams to ensure smooth delivery, and providing after-event follow-up to build long-term relationships. The Sales Representative will contribute to sales targets, share market feedback, and help refine sales processes to support the company’s growth.

Qualifications

  • Strong sales and negotiation skills, with experience converting leads into confirmed bookings.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients of all backgrounds.
  • Organizational and time-management skills, including accurate record-keeping in CRM or similar systems.
  • Customer service mindset, with a focus on delivering a smooth, stress-free experience for clients.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced events or hospitality environment, preferably with B2B and B2C clients.
  • Basic numeric and analytical skills to prepare quotes, understand margins, and report on performance.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with operations, kitchen, and event staff to align sales promises with delivery.
  • Previous experience in catering, events, hospitality, or food service sales is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency with email, office applications, and online conferencing tools; familiarity with CRM software is a plus.
  • Reliability and flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends based on event and client needs.
