Chef de Rang – Lobby Restaurant
The Peninsula London is pleased to announce that we are seeking a Chef de Rang to work within our Lobby Restaurant, overseeing a team of F&B Attendants and reporting to the Lobby Director. This position is part of our renowned Lobby experience, featuring live music, luxurious settings, and high‑level food and beverage service.
Key Accountabilities:
- Responsible for all activities relating to service within the Lobby and assisting the Lobby Director with day‑to‑day management.
- Understand, follow and supervise the sequence of standard service.
- Provide expert knowledge of food and beverage items, ensure team training, and create memorable guest experiences.
- Attend required training and meetings, support roster management to accommodate colleagues’ training and meetings.
General Requirements:
- Good knowledge of food and beverage with an emphasis on wines.
- Experience of at least 1 year in a luxury hotel’s food and beverage department.
- Hospitality recognised training certifications/qualifications.
- Friendly, positive, flexible, and confident in guiding a team.
- Ability to work under pressure.
