HGV Driver – Class 2 Tipper

Class 2 Tipper Driver | Avonmouth | Temp-to-Perm Opportunity | £14.50 per Hour

Driver Hire Bristol is recruiting for Class 2 (Category C) Tipper Drivers to support a busy aggregates and construction materials operation based in Avonmouth. We have multiple positions available for drivers looking for consistent work with the potential to secure a permanent role.

The Role:

• Operate a Class 2 Tipper Vehicle safely and efficiently
• Deliver aggregates and materials to local construction and commercial sites
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects
• Maintain accurate delivery records and paperwork
• Communicate effectively with transport teams and customers
• Ensure compliance with all road transport and site safety regulations
• Represent the business professionally at all times

Pay & Benefits:

• £14.50 per hour (holiday pay included via advanced holiday payment method)
• Weekly PAYE pay
• Minimum 45 hours per week (excluding breaks)
• Consistent ongoing work
• High potential for temp-to-perm opportunities
• Supportive transport operation

What You’ll Need:

• Full UK Class 2 (Category C) licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tacho cards
• MPQC card preferred but not essential
• Ideally held a Class 2 licence for at least 2 years, although less experience may be considered
• Good understanding of vehicle safety and compliance
• Reliable, professional, and safety‑conscious approach

Required PPE:

• Long‑sleeve orange hi‑vis top
• Orange hi‑vis trousers
• Lace‑up safety boots
• Hard hat
