This is a great opportunity for a dynamic, enthusiastic individual to join the College to provide training for personal social development topics to improve employability skills and basic digital skills associated with everyday life and the construction industry, for learners studying construction programmes. A qualification and/or experience in an appropriate building services discipline would be advantageous, but not essential.
The ideal candidate will coordinate assessment activities in groups and one-to-one training, plan and provide high‑standard training and assessments, and work pro‑actively to build positive relationships with learners to improve their employability and success in their chosen industry.
The post‑holder does not need to be a digital expert, but should have an interest in digital technology and be able to motivate students to improve their digital fluency, particularly in the construction industry and everyday life. The role also requires training learners in the fundamental principles of personal development topics and providing training that deepens their knowledge and understanding to succeed in modern Britain.
The College requires a highly self‑motivated, energetic and driven individual who can work effectively and independently, with good presentation and communication skills and the ability to demonstrate achievement of targets and goals.
The role will require the post‑holder to embed the College’s values: Respect, Integrity, Collaboration, Ambition and Compassion.
