Teacher Assistant-Math Intervention Group Aide

The Davis School District is hiring a Teacher Assistant. Under the supervision of the principal or another supervisor, the teacher assistant assists the teacher with the conduct of a class. This includes preparing class materials, correcting and recording assignments, and providing a variety of other services.

Job Details

Position: Classified, 2.8 hours per day, 174 days per year.

Salary Grade 3: $17.24 per hour (2026-27 Support Salary Table). Promotions result in a minimum 5% increase.

NOTE: This position is for the upcoming 2026-27 school year. Hours may be adjusted.

Responsibilities

• Assist the teacher with the conduct of a class.
• Prepare class materials.
• Correct and record assignments.
• Provide a variety of other services as needed.

Qualifications / Requirements

• High school graduation or equivalent education and/or experience.
• Equivalent of two years (48 semester hours) full‑time higher education, or an associate’s degree, or the ability to pass a Utah State Office of Education approved Para‑Professional Test.
• Interpersonal and communication skills.
• Secretarial/clerical skills, including ability to operate a computer, may be required.
