Power Systems Engineer

We’re currently seeking two experienced Power System Studies Engineers to support a major international onshore energy project in Saudi Arabia. Previous Saudi Aramco project experience with a major EPC contractor is required.

• Start: ASAP
• Rate: £65 per hour (Outside IR35)
• Location: Surrey
• Working Pattern: 4 days onsite / 1 day remote

Purpose of the Role

You’ll be providing power system studies support for an onshore project, working closely with project teams in the UK and Saudi Arabia, as well as external vendors to deliver high‑quality engineering studies.

Scope of Work

• Running and reviewing power system studies
• Equipment sizing and system analysis
• Overseeing third‑party study vendors
• Delivering studies using EMT software

Skills & Experience Required

• Experience with captive power generation
• Proven capability in:
• Load flow
• Short circuit
• Dynamic motor starting
• Harmonic studies
• Arc flash
• Transient stability
• Intermediate proficiency in ETAP power transmission software, with a strong understanding of power systems within large‑scale onshore projects.
