Main duties of the job
The Band 7 role within the ED is a rewarding role. You will lead our dynamic, multi‑disciplinary team on a daily basis, ensuring the smooth running of shifts in a challenging and diverse environment. Your clinical leadership and people skills are vital to delivering the responsibilities and accountabilities outlined in this job description.

- NMC Registered Nurse
- Post graduate courses relevant to specialty
- BSc or evidence of study at level 6
- Teaching and assessing course
- ILS
- Safeguarding level 3
- MSc or evidence of study at level 7
- ALS
- Management and leadership course
Experience
- Extensive post registration experience within specialty
- Experience of team and shift management
- Experience in conducting appraisals
- Experience in service improvement implementation
- Experience in research and audit
Knowledge
- Application of evidence based practice and knowledge of current clinical and professional issues
