Role Overview

At Wilson James, we are seeking a highly skilled Incident Manager to join our dedicated security operations team for a major tech client based in King’s Cross. This position requires effective day‑to‑day response and management of safety and security incidents that may pose a risk to employees or impact business operations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert guidance and oversight on operational resilience policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with the client’s resilience framework and best practice standards.
  • Capture lessons learned from tabletop exercises, make clear recommendations, and drive implementation of agreed actions.
  • Communicate critical information effectively to risk owners and key stakeholders.
  • Advise management on all security matters, including reviewing and enhancing security policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the client’s core business activities to ensure the Security Operations Centre delivers the most effective security solutions and services.
  • Lead and manage security personnel during incident response, ensuring professionalism, effectiveness, and continuous development of the team.

Qualifications

  • Experience operating in or supervising a team in a UK Emergency Services control room environment.
  • Experience managing incidents with multi‑agency involvement.
  • Deliver excellent customer service.
  • Business process mapping and risk assessment.
  • Hands‑on experience in incident and crisis management.
  • Understanding of risk and information security control frameworks.
  • Valid SIA licence.
