We are looking for Several Children’s Residential Support Workers to support one of our clients in the Hartlepool area on a temporary basis supporting their team in one of there Residential homes.Within this role, you will support children and young people in a residential setting, ensuring their safety, wellbeing, and development. The role also involves elements of family support to help strengthen relationships and encourage positive outcomes.Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day care and support to children and young people in a residential environment
- Supervise contact between children and their families
- Promote positive relationships and engagement with both young people and families
- Maintain safeguarding standards and adhere to child protection procedures
- Record and report observations, incidents, and progress appropriately
Key Requirements
- Previous experience working with children and young people, ideally in a residential or support setting
- Experience supervising contact between children and families
- A good understanding of safeguarding and child protection practices
- Strong communication skills and ability to build positive relationships
- Driving licence and access to own vehicle
