An established, employee-owned Building Services Consultancy is looking to appoint a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join its growing London team. With decades of experience delivering innovative engineering solutions across the built environment, the business has developed a strong reputation for technical excellence, sustainable design, and long-standing client partnerships across London and the South East.
The company delivers full MEP building services design alongside specialist low carbon and energy advisory services across a broad range of sectors including commercial, healthcare, education, leisure, residential, and industrial developments.

Due to continued project wins and growth, they are now looking for an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to play a key role in project delivery, client management, and mentoring junior engineers within the London office.
The Role
You will lead the mechanical design and coordination of a wide range of building services projects from concept through to completion. Working closely with clients, architects, and multidisciplinary teams, you will contribute to the delivery of sustainable and technically robust engineering solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading mechanical building services design across multiple sectorsProducing and reviewing detailed HVAC and public health designsManaging projects through all RIBA stagesAttending client and design team meetingsMentoring and supporting junior engineers and techniciansCoordinating with electrical, sustainability, and external consultant teamsCarrying out site inspections and technical reviewsSupporting low carbon and energy-efficient design strategiesRequirements
Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services EngineeringProven experience within a Building Services consultancy environmentStrong knowledge of HVAC and mechanical systems designExperience leading projects and managing client relationshipsFamiliarity with UK Building Regulations and CIBSE guidanceProficiency with industry software such as AutoCAD, Revit, IES, or HevacompChartered status or working towards Chartership would be advantageousWhat’s On Offer
