Senior Software Sales Consultant – ERP Solutions

Salary: Up to £90,000 Basic + Uncapped Commission + Benefits

Location: UK (Hybrid/Remote)

Package: £180,000+ OTE for top performers

We are seeking an experienced Software Sales Consultant with a proven track record of selling ERP software solutions into Engineer-to-Order (ETO), Manufacturing, and Distribution organisations.

You’ll be responsible for driving new business growth, managing complex sales cycles, and helping customers transform their operations through technology.

The Role

As a Senior Software Sales Consultant, you will:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to win new ERP business.
  • Identify and engage senior decision-makers across manufacturing, engineering, and distribution organisations.
  • Lead consultative sales engagements from initial prospecting through to contract negotiation and close.
  • Conduct high-impact software demonstrations and business presentations.
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities.
  • Work closely with pre-sales, implementation, and marketing teams to deliver successful outcomes.
  • Accurately forecast sales activity and revenue generation.

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

  • Proven experience selling ERP software solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of Engineer-to-Order (ETO), Manufacturing, and/or Distribution environments.
  • Demonstrable success in achieving and exceeding software sales targets.
  • Experience managing complex, consultative B2B sales cycles.
  • Ability to engage with C-level executives, Operations Directors, Manufacturing Directors, and IT stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Desirable:

  • Experience selling solutions such as ERP, MRP, MES, Supply Chain, Production Planning, Warehouse Management, or Business Management Software.
  • Knowledge of sectors including industrial manufacturing, engineering, aerospace, automotive, electronics, or specialist distribution.
