Location: UK / Europe (Mostly remote with some travel to London)

We’re supporting a leading global organisation undergoing a significant data and operational transformation programme. As the business continues to invest in advanced analytics, forecasting and AI readiness, they are seeking a Data Scientist with a strong mathematical background to help establish trusted, data-driven decision making across a large-scale international operation
This role would suit someone who has worked within complex global organisations and understands how to navigate multiple stakeholders, diverse data sources and large-scale operational environments. Beyond technical capability, we’re looking for someone who can confidently explain the logic behind their models and communicate complex concepts in a way that drives business confidence and adoption
Experience Required
- Strong academic background in Mathematics, Statistics, Operational Research, Data Science or a related quantitative discipline.
- Experience working within large, complex or global organizations.
- Proven experience building predictive and forecasting models from multiple data sources.
- Strong understanding of statistical modelling techniques and analytical methodology.
- Ability to clearly articulate model outputs, assumptions and recommendations to business stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working with both structured and semi-structured data.
- Data Modelling (Conceptual, Logical and Physical).
- Forecasting, planning, scheduling or operational optimisation projects.
- Experience supporting organisations on their data maturity or AI readiness journey.
