Graduate Surface Water Consultant – Coventry, UK

Geosciences division within RSK Group Ltd, one of the UK’s largest environmental consultancies, offers an exciting opportunity to join an experienced team working on a vast array of development projects. The role involves contributing to environmental management plans and supporting clients in meeting regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the production of environmental management plans including Pollution Prevention and Surface Water Management Plans for construction sites
• Auditing construction sites for compliance with Surface Water Management Plans
• Advising clients on meeting UK regulatory requirements for Surface Water Management and associated waste permits/exemptions
• Liaison with regulators including the Environment Agency and National Resources Wales
• Response and management of environmental incidents, including fuel/oil spillage, silt discharges and effluent discharges
• Advice and on‑site training of clients on issues including ecology, contamination and waste management
• Assisting with the production of quotations and tenders for new projects
• Assisting with the management of clients and projects

Qualifications

• Individuals with between 0 and 2 years post‑graduate experience in the environmental sector
• Full UK driving licence
