Lead Java Application Developer – Java Web Tech

Onsite: London/Manchester (when required by the client)

Atrium EMEA are supporting a large managed service provider, looking for an experienced Lead Java Application Developer to lead the design and development of modern, scalable Java applications in secure, enterprise environments.

Key Skills & Experience

• Strong experience leading Java development teams
• Hands‑on development of Java microservices
• Expertise in microservices architecture
• Proven experience migrating applications to AWS cloud
• Strong focus on application quality, performance, and security
• Experience working with clients and multi supplier programme teams

Nice to Have

• Legacy system modernisation (e.g. COBOL/C++ to Java)
• Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud native tools
