We are seeking a highly capable, motivated, and community-focused Manager Corporate Services (MCS) to join our leadership team.
Role Overview
The MCS is an integral member of the school’s leadership structure and plays a critical role in ensuring the effective and efficient management of the school’s operational, financial and administrative functions. A high-performing professional with leadership and management experience, strong professional knowledge, and a commitment to excellence is ideal.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic oversight of financial, physical and human resources
- Lead and build the capacity of administrative and support staff through effective professional learning and performance management
- Ensure sound financial management practices, including budgeting, monitoring and reporting
- Contribute to the development, implementation and review of business and operational plans
- Support compliance, governance and occupational health and safety systems to maintain a safe and effective working environment
- Work one day per week at the front desk, undertaking school officer responsibilities, requiring high organisational, adaptability and exceptional customer service to students, families and staff
Qualifications
- Highly developed leadership skills focused on strong business outcomes and customer service excellence
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to build positive relationships across the school community
- Strong financial management skills, including budget preparation and application of financial and accounting practices
- Ability to contribute to strategic planning, including business and marketing initiatives
- Sound human resource management skills, including application of HR practices and systems
- Strong conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Comprehensive understanding of the operational requirements of a primary school setting

- Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.
- Obtain a valid Working With Children Check before you start; and
