Senior Project Controls Engineer – Full-time – Infrastructure

Role Overview
Main Purpose of Role: Senior Project Controls Engineers work as part of our project controls team on high‑profile, high‑value infrastructure projects, providing performance reporting and analysis support. This may be part of a large team or serve as the key day‑to‑day contact point with the client.
Responsibilities
- Develop work breakdown structures and robust performance baselines in collaboration with cost and planning engineers.
- Establish progress and cost monitoring methods.
- Produce project control reports and provide performance analysis and recommendations.
- Support the client’s performance reporting needs.
- Adhere to SOX control responsibilities where applicable.
Experience
Previous experience working in a project controls environment on a major project or programme within the infrastructure sector (ideally airports, rail, utilities or highways) would be beneficial. Candidates must demonstrate a thorough understanding of earned value, progress updating, cost control, change control, baseline management, reporting and Primavera P6 environment.
Qualifications
- Numerate and computer literate; highly competent in Microsoft Excel, Primavera and reporting databases.
- Familiarity with financial and procurement systems such as Oracle and SAP and web‑based project control tools.
- Qualified graduate in a relevant discipline with some relevant work experience, or previous proven experience in a project control environment.
- Proactive, self‑starter with well‑developed communications and analytical skills.
