Senior Technical Application Support Specialist – Creating an Impact in FinTech – Up to £70k

I’m currently working with a top insurance broker in the London Market to appoint a Senior Technical Support Specialist as part of their expanding technology team. This is a key role, offering the chance to join a well‑established setup and play a significant role in shaping future support, automation and AI capabilities.

The Role

• Provide senior-level application support across a suite of business‑critical platforms
• Own and triage incidents, problems, and service requests, ensuring high-quality resolution
• Support and maintain system integrations across multiple internal and external platforms
• Act as a technical escalation point within the team and provide cover for leadership when required
• Engage with senior stakeholders across the business in a professional, corporate environment
• Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes, and support capability
• Explore and champion emerging technologies, especially in AI and automation (e.g. Copilot, Google Cloud-based tools)
• Contribute to ongoing initiatives around AI adoption, including internal tooling and platforms

Experience

• Strong in application support at a senior level
• Proven experience supporting integrated systems environments (APIs, middleware, or similar)
• Experience in a professional services or corporate environment, supporting senior stakeholders
• Google Cloud platform experience
• Strong communication skills
• Experience working in an accelerated and professional environment
