Land Manager – Company Overview:

Our client is a multiple award winning and leading social housebuilding organisation and residential developer specialising in new build development; and for social and affordable housing. Due to continued growth and expansion across South and East Wales, they are looking to strengthen their Land discipline with the appointment of a Land Manager or experienced Land Buyer looking to step up.

Land and Partnership Manager – About you/experience:

  • Currently in an active Land Buyer / Land Manager role with a robust and demonstrable track record of acquiring land
  • Experience working for a residential developer, main contractor or housing association
  • Extensive knowledge of the South and East Wales operating region
  • A relevant construction qualification or proven experience in land acquisition, procurement and management.
  • Understanding of the planning system & process and its impact on land acquisition & deal structure
  • Able to work well as part of a team but also independently when required
  • Good financial acumen, commercially aware and a sound understanding of development
  • A good communicator with a driven personality who gets things done
  • A self-starter, motivated to succeed and to make a positive impact on a growing business
  • An understanding of ‘Partnership’ housing an advantage
