EQUITY-FIRST ROLE · Founder-level equity stake + modest base salary · Post-PMF, paying customers, scaling now

Role

Chief Technology Officer & Co-Founder

Reports to

CEO & Co-Founder

Location

Remote-first / Hybrid (flexible UK/Dubai)

Compensation

Equity-first. Significant founder-level equity + modest base. Scales with the business.

Stage

Post-PMF — paying customers, active pipeline, demos converting. Scaling now.

The Opportunity

We have done the hard part. Product-market fit is proven. We have paying customers, a pipeline of deals in play, and a product already in the hands of real saless generating real revenue.

We are not looking for someone to build from zero. We are looking for someone to take what works and scale it — technically, commercially, and operationally. Someone who is as excited about growing a business as they are about writing great code.

This is a founding role. You will own the technology, shape the product, and sit at the strategy table as a genuine co-founder — not a senior hire waiting for someone to tell them what to build.

What We Are Building

Sales is a high-stakes, relationship-driven industry running on gut feel, overloaded CRMs, and tools built for generic sales teams. We are changing that.

We want our platform sit on every call a sales person makes — and listens for the signals that determine what happens next. It detects risk before the offer is made. It surfaces prospect silence before the sales notices. It updates the CRM automatically so the pipeline reflects reality without anyone having to type it. And it gets smarter with every call, every placement, every outcome — building an institutional memory of what winning looks like at each agency that no individual sales could hold in their head.

This is not a generic sales intelligence tool with a sales skin. It is built from the ground up for how sales actually works. That specificity is the moat.

The Role

We want someone who thrives in startups! You will be hands-on in the codebase every day. You will also be in the room when we make product, pricing, and growth decisions. Both matter equally here.

Build and scale the platform

  • Own the full technical architecture and make the decisions that determine how we grow
  • Write production code daily — this role is keyboard-first, not delegation-first
  • Set and maintain engineering standards: quality, security, testing, deployment, observability
  • Make build-versus-buy decisions and own the cost, velocity, and trade-off consequences
  • Own the infrastructure cost — understand it, forecast it, and optimise it as we scale

Lead with AI-first thinking

  • Use AI tooling to ship faster, leaner, and more accurately — you see it as a force multiplier, not a shortcut
  • Drive AI deeply into the product: call intelligence, risk scoring, coaching prompts, and recommendation engines are central to what we do
  • Stay close to the frontier — know what to adopt, what to ignore, and what to build yourself

Own communication and process

We will be direct: poor communication and organisation skills has cost us before. This is a hard requirement, not a soft skill.

  • Over-communicate by default — if something is delayed, blocked, or at risk, say so before anyone has to ask
  • Own the ticketing system end-to-end — every piece of work is visible, prioritised, and has a deadline
  • The CEO always knows the state of play. No surprises, no silence, no ghost mode

Be the co-founder, not just the CTO

  • Sit at the strategy table — market conditions, competitor moves, product bets, and investor conversations are part of your remit
  • Challenge ideas, push back when necessary, and bring your own point of view — this is a partnership
  • Be the person the CEO calls when they do not know if something is possible — and the answer always starts with ‘let us figure it out’

Who We Are Looking For

The experience that matters

  • Proven track record of scaling a SaaS product — you know the difference between building and scaling, and you are ready for the latter
  • Hands-on full-stack engineering depth — you are equally comfortable in the backend, the infrastructure, and the product layer
  • Real experience with AI in production — LLMs, embeddings, RAG pipelines, or intelligent automation — not just theoretical familiarity
  • Security-first instincts — GDPR, multi-tenancy, and zero-trust are natural to how you build, not an afterthought
  • Strong on CI/CD, observability, and deployment discipline — you have shipped to production under pressure and built accordingly

The tech stack

Python / FastAPI, AWS (Fargate, S3, ElastiCache, SES), MongoDB Atlas, Qdrant (vector DB), Redis, and Cloudflare. You will assess what is here and decide what comes next. Full detail shared after an initial conversation.

The mindset

  • You have scaled something before — startup or high-growth environment — and you know what that gear change demands
  • You are deeply organised and impose structure naturally, without making it bureaucratic
  • You default to action — if something is blocked, you find another way
  • You take deadlines seriously because you understand that shipping is the product
  • You care about the business as much as the code — customer retention, revenue, and market positioning matter to you
  • You are genuinely excited about AI as a practical tool that changes what a small team can build and ship

Compensation

This is an equity-first role and we are transparent about that. The right person for this position is motivated by building something meaningful and owning a significant piece of it.

You will receive a founder-level equity stake alongside a modest base salary, with both scaling as the business grows. If you are optimising for a market-rate salary, this is the wrong fit. If you are optimising for ownership, impact, and being part of something from the ground floor — let us talk numbers.

What This Is Not

This is not a zero-to-one role. The product exists, customers are paying, and the pipeline is active. The scrappy build phase is done. It’s very scrappy…

This is not a role for someone who wants to manage engineers from a distance. You will be writing code every day. It is not for someone who treats communication as optional. And it is not for someone who sees commercial momentum as a distraction from engineering.

If you want a safe salary and a clearly scoped brief, this is not the right opportunity. If you want to co-own something that is already working and help it become something significant — we would like to meet you.

Sound Like You?

We are looking for an engineer who has grown into a business partner. Someone who still loves the craft of writing good code but cannot switch off the part of their brain that thinks about growth, customers, and commercial outcomes.

We have PMF. We have paying customers. We have pipeline. What we need now is the person who can build the technical foundation that makes the next stage of growth feel inevitable.

If that is you — or someone you know — we would like to talk.
