HireIQ are partnering with a well-established, leading business who make a real difference in the local community as they hire for a Financial Accountant with this newly created position.
Youll gain hands-on experience in a collaborative environment, making it an excellent role to strengthen your CV and broaden your skillset, reporting to the senior finance team.
About the job:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts and month-end reporting.
- Completion of balance sheet reconciliations and trial balance reviews.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting and year-end audit processes.
- Support cashflow management, payroll and day-to-day finance operations.
- Oversee sales and purchase ledger activities and maintain strong financial controls.
- Provide financial analysis and support to senior management.
- Mentor and support junior members of the finance team.
- Drive process improvements and contribute to the ongoing development of the finance function.
About you:
- Qualified Accountant – ACA, ACCA, CIMA or soon to be qualified
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Team player who can work collaboratively
