General Manager – Central London
This is not your typical General Manager role.
We are looking for an energetic, proactive and hands-on leader to take ownership of one of our Central London properties. The role needs someone who is visible, confident and able to lead from the front, bringing structure, pace and efficiency to the operation.
The ideal candidate will have experience within a Marriott-branded hotel, or a similar branded hotel environment, and will understand the importance of standards, consistency and guest experience. You will also need to be commercially focused, with the ability to drive performance, manage costs and make sound decisions that improve the overall operation.
Food and beverage is very limited at this property, so the focus is firmly on rooms, day-to-day operations, team leadership, guest experience and commercial performance.
You will be responsible for leading the team, improving daily performance, driving standards and ensuring the property runs smoothly and commercially. We are looking for someone who can spot issues quickly, make decisions and follow things through without needing to be pushed.
The right person will be operationally strong, commercially aware and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. You will need to motivate the team, improve communication, manage priorities and ensure the property is performing to the expected standard.
This role would suit someone who enjoys being close to the operation, solving problems, improving processes and making a visible impact. We are not looking for someone who simply maintains the status quo — we want someone who can take ownership, challenge what is not working and help move the property forward.
