Role Overview
Prospectus is seeking a Head of Business Development to join our client’s senior leadership team. This role supports London’s most vulnerable people by driving income generation strategies across a range of services for individuals with mental health conditions, eating disorders, learning disabilities and dementia.
Employment Terms
Flexible, part‑time (0.8 FTE) permanent contract. Salary £49,200–£53,300 per annum (pro‑rata). Flexible remote working between home and London sites.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver an income generation strategy, achieving growth across commercial income, grants and statutory funding streams.
- Actively engage in applications, prospecting, communication and development of new income opportunities.
- Build strong relationships with staff, volunteers, service users and key stakeholders.
- Develop evidence‑based, impact‑led cases to support a range of projects.
- Engage with external partners and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.
Qualifications
- Demonstrable experience delivering impactful charitable fundraising across diverse income streams, particularly from trusts and foundations.
- Proven ability to develop pipelines, bid writing and securing significant funding.
- Experience designing and delivering commercial income streams, including business‑to‑business and direct‑to‑consumer products.
