Magisters is currently recruiting dedicated Teaching Assistants to work across primary and secondary schools in Cheshunt and the surrounding areas.

The Role

• Location: Cheshunt, Hertfordshire
• Position: Teaching Assistant (TA / LSA / SEN TA)
• Type: Full-time or part-time flexible opportunities available
• Start Date: Immediate and September starts available
• Pay: Competitive hourly/daily rates, dependent on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting teachers in the classroom to deliver engaging lessons
• Working one-to-one or in small groups with pupils who need additional support
• Assisting pupils with SEND, SEMH, or behavioural needs (experience welcomed)
• Helping to create a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
• Supporting with classroom preparation and learning resources
• Supervising pupils during break times and school activities

About You

• Previous experience working with children or young people (school experience preferred)
• Passionate about supporting pupils learning and development
• Patient, reliable, and proactive approach
• Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection (training provided if needed)
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
