Role Overview
As a CT Meter Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and commissioning of CT metering equipment nationwide. You will ensure that all meters are installed efficiently, tested for accuracy, and compliant with industry regulations. The role requires working independently while delivering excellent customer service and adhering to health and safety standards. This position offers an opportunity to upskill into High Voltage (HV) metering and mentoring roles through structured training and career progression.
Responsibilities
- Installation, maintenance, and commissioning of CT metering equipment nationwide
- Testing and verifying metering installations to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Providing excellent customer service while working on-site
- Adhering to health and safety regulations while working with electrical systems
- Opportunity to upskill to High Voltage (HV) metering and mentoring roles
Qualifications
- Experience in CT metering installation is essential
- Strong electrical knowledge, including single-phase and three-phase meters
- Relevant electrical qualifications, such as NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations, 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671), and MOCoPA Certification
- Full UK driving license (company van and fuel card provided)
- Willingness to undergo in-house training and further skill development
