MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN – EDINBURGH

Large Residential Development | Up to £30,000 | Monday – Friday | Static Site Role

FM Search & Select are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Technician to join a large residential development in Edinburgh.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone from a maintenance, FM, handyman, or building services background looking for a stable, long‑term static site role within a modern residential environment.

Working as part of the on‑site team, you will be responsible for ensuring the building and communal areas are maintained to a high standard while providing excellent service to and visitors.

The Role

Duties will include:

• Carrying out general planned and reactive maintenance
• Basic plumbing, joinery, and fabric repairs
• Minor electrical maintenance and repairs
• Painting and decorating touch‑ups
• Supporting contractors on site
• Carrying out site inspections and reporting defects
• Maintaining communal areas to a high standard
• Responding to maintenance requests from management teams

Requirements

• Previous maintenance / handyman / FM experience
• Good all‑round building maintenance knowledge
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage workload
• Reliable and proactive attitude
• Full UK Driving Licence

Package

• Salary up to £30,000 DOE
