Consultant in Restorative Dentistry

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK, employing around 40,000 staff. We are the largest provider of specialist oral healthcare in Scotland and are looking for a Consultant in Restorative Dentistry to join our well‑established Department of Restorative Dentistry.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist assessment, diagnosis and treatment in Restorative Dentistry, including contributing to the hypodontia service as part of the Multi‑Disciplinary Team.
• Play an active role in teaching and training postgraduate dentists to specialist level.
• Engage in clinical activity across other restorative disciplines, as service demands arise.
• Participate in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, quality improvement activities, and research.

Qualifications

• Full registration with the General Dental Council (GDC).
• Completed specialist training and be on the Restorative Dentistry Specialist Register of the GDC, or have a CCST date within six months of the interview.
