We have an exciting new opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer interested in the development of renewable heat and thermal energy efficiency projects.Our Carbon Shift consulting business is focussed on the delivery of realisable climate action and net zero plans and is supported by delivery capability in heat decarbonisation, regeneration, Facilities Management, Project delivery, EV’s, smart buildings and renewables. Carbon Shift has developed a strong expertise and client base around net zero and energy transition and is now moving expand this offer into offering solutions to the broader climate adaptation and resilience challenge.Role focusThis role will focus on the engineering and design development of commercial heat pump applications, HVAC systems improvements and controls, working alongside electrical energy engineers and analysts to deliver low-carbon retrofit solutions.The successful candidate will have a strong background in building services engineering and will have a keen appetite to learn and pioneer low-carbon retrofit.
