Role Summary
To deliver customers’ products to the required premises ensuring all customers receive exceptional customer service as part of a multi-drop delivery route.
Responsibilities
- Represent DX in a professional manner at all times.
- Drive vehicles safely and legally, ensuring compliance with all legal and company requirements.
- Perform all daily checks, report defects immediately and complete correct paperwork.
- Scan all products using DX scanning equipment.
- Load deliveries safely prior to leaving the depot.
- Observe DX procedures and policies at all times.
- Manage routing to ensure premium and timed deliveries are achieved.
- Ensure equipment and PPE are in good order and used at all times.
- Report all delivery and on‑road issues to the traffic office immediately.
- Ensure the customer receives deliveries in excellent condition each time.
- Deal with customer issues politely and effectively.
- Collect items in line with given instructions and times.
Essential Criteria
- Must hold a C1 or above licence with a valid DQC and Tacho card.
- Maximum of 6 points on licence and no bans.
- Takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service.
- Ability to build rapport with customers.
