Aspiring Anatomical Pathology Technologist (Mortuary)

Responsibilities

• Provide general mortuary services for the Trust and support Senior Technicians and Mortuary Manager.
• Perform post‑mortems, label samples, liaise with the coroner’s office, bereavement services, and the Medical Examiner’s office.
• Maintain stock levels, conduct regular audits, and assist in reviewing and creating Standard Operating Procedures as needed.
• Participate in the on‑call rota, possess a working knowledge of the Human Tissue Authority, and provide cross‑site coverage when necessary.
